I recently took a week long workshop to learn from an artist I loved and this painting was something that came out of it. Keeping the strokes loose and painterly whilst keeping edges and character was my goal. This painting depicts a country bedroom with a quilt on the bed, soft billowing curtains and a feeling that it would be a cozy space to spend time in. This painting would add interest to any wall or amongst other works in an eclectic gallery.
