Receiving a letter in the post these days is a sadly uncommon thing. But years ago, not that long ago really, a letter was eagerly read, often at the mailbox if it was about something or from somebody you were waiting to hear from.

I grew up and still live in Melbourne, Australia.

I paint at home more or less full time and enjoy painting a wide variety of subjects that take my interest. I gain so much satisfaction from connecting with people through art and I love hearing why a piece resonates with them. Often why somebody buys my art is because they feel what I’m aiming to convey, through a simple scene or object. That feeling or memory is familiar but still unique to them. All my paintings start with a feeling.

I studied Industrial Design at RMIT, then Interior Decorating, so have always been interested in the visual. Pattern, colour and form feature in many pieces of my art. I later illustrated greeting cards and this allowed me to focus on drawing which influences my painting greatly.

Most of my paintings are small scale and started and finished in the one sitting. I am on a constant quest to bring life and freshness to my work. I often mix painterly brush strokes with both sharp detail and blurry edges.

My paintings can be bought here through the website and other pieces can be found in galleries representing me, such as Town and Country Gallery in Yarragon Vic and Aspire Gallery in Queensland. I also pop up in various exhibitions, shows and online auctions such as Artbid in Australia. Each piece is beautifully custom framed so it is ready to hang or place on a shelf

Thankyou for visiting my site today, it is ever changing and I hope you visit again.
