This little wooden doll has so much soul and looks wistfully out at the world. His little socks and wooden arms are so cute and this appeals to the illustrator in me when I drew many children’s cards and even illustrated a few books. Everything I liked to draw had an emotion behind it and I like to think I captured that here too.
