When I painted this and posted on instagram, many people identified it as something they or their mother or grandmother had. It was nice to put the milk in a jug and put on the table for people to put the milk in before or after the tea went in the cup. It is a nice little study and beautifully framed to draw your eye into the picture. A nice pairing with the sugar as they are framed to potentially go together on a wall.
