Capturing the heads of matches in a worn out box, I loved painting the match heads and getting that distinctive colour right. Another simple object like a box of matches is beautiful in itself, little sticks to light a fire which we may take for granted but they have a beauty in themselves. Framed in a custom gallery frame which sets off this little study.
