Remember feeling so lucky when you were going to have fish and chips. When I was young, take away was either fish and chips or Chinese food. Most people have a standard order, mine is flake, a dim sim and a crab stick. But of course you have to order chips. In this study I tried to capture the texture of the fried fish and crispy chips. This little oil painting is set off in its beautiful custom gallery frame.
